3D Printing progress
Three things happening in my 3d printing world today.
I had a sale! This is always great confirmation that my work is not useless. The creations are of value, I must merely keep fine-tuning this technology and raising awareness.
A project was finished with exceptional results! I made some Christmas ornaments and it turned well. 3 ornaments, PLA material, all functional and they don’t look half bad. See after action report for details.
I got affirmation. A business partner gave some encouragement on the AMPEL project. This was very heartening.
Questions
Following that the shift will be from USB-A to the popularity of the USB-C port, what will the priority data interface look like in 10 years? Probably in wireless RIFD/microchip form, right?
How to get rid of stringing? When 3D printing with PLA, some material gets dragged across open spaces as the extruder head moves about the project. I’m guessing that I should just wash the model in acetone…
The bonsai reacted
I’ve been keeping a miniature bonsai tree for some time now as a hobby. Having been recently repotted, it has seems to have settled into its new environment: my desk! Having noticed a bend in roots on Monday, I inserted a small pebble between the root and dirt. Today, I noticed that smaller roots have split off and “grabbed” the rock.
