Log Entry 12/20/2022
Hello web log, GC has not posted an entry in some time. We’ll recap Q4 of 2022 and discuss outstanding projects.
Quarter 4 of this year has seen tremendous change to methods of productivity and allocation of time. In particular, a new actual job understandably consumes a vast amount of time. The family of organizations moved into an office, fulfilling the long outstanding need of a physical space to work in.
Let’s speak of space. Space is at a premium today, and I don’t think the case is limited to just Southern California. Wherever I can find it, personal or private space is nearly unaccessible. This is true of my place of living, my place of work, and my locations of leisure. They’re watching and it might continue this way for some time.
To reiterate, while a bit narcissistic, my situation remains one of “the observed”.
Organizations
Organizational involvement was scaled back but is by no means absent.
- At Netrendity we saw great success in Boston for our livestream project there. This was followed up by a couple smaller projects and the acquisition of new equipment leading into the spring. We now turn towards the spring with more projects than any previous season. GC would like more organized planning for this season.
- At Grant Coultrup Productions, content projection has slowed but time is once again reinvested into the production of audiobooks. Other content includes drone video, 3D printing video or livestream, and other topics as they are written. GC would like to push into writing/producing skits or other short scripts.
- At AMPEL, operations saw a boom following new equipment acquisition accompanied by reinvestment of time and money into CAD software. This has allowed the organization to iterate well on proprietary designs while producing excellent models of third party designs. GC would like to continue exploring embedded devices.
- At Coultrup Designs little work has been done, partly because not much work was deemed necessary. GC would like to spearhead entity registration to the Red Hill office.
- At Twentynineteen, no work has been done this quarter. It goes without saying that GC would like to develop another clothing line as soon as possible, but this will probably not be undertaken until resources become available which can produce this. In the short term, NFT tokens were secured.
Current Projects
Augmented by the Ender 3 S1 Plus, iteration at AMPEL has accelerated. A reinvestment in CAD software ensures that ideas can be quickly prototyped, experimented with, and iterated to the best form. Projects have been abstract (ex, creating design principles for integrated devices), or substantial (ex, fulfilling orders for fabrication).
Audiobooks by Grant Coultrup. This channel has seen strong recent growth, see statistics below. This project is an asset for the Youtube channel but is not based there; the real audiobook stream is based on GCs’s RSS feed. This could be monetized.
Grant Coultrup Productions on Youtube has some video scripts in backlog. As resources become more available, these can move into production. Included are: a Part 2 of this video; documentation of 3D printer activites; and skits.
Studying for GMAT, to take in February or March.

Trends
GC includes the following trends in this report:
Momentum. A turning point in the personal and organizational behaviour occurred several. years back which spurred the current direction. For awhile the effects of this change were not recognizable even to me. It is GC’s running theory that these effects are on the track of exponential growth, and that the binary has been passed. Growth which occurred in fractional increases are now occurring in whole number leaps, and those leaps only grow.
Physical space. This was explained above.
Attention. As momentum builds and physical space is constrained, attention on GC has increased. This is welcomed so long as the noise can be balanced.
Conclusion
This was not so much an in-depth report as it was to keep consistency. Thank you for reading, support, and feedback.
